John Blanton

Lead Managing Partner/Guest Presenter

John acquired a Bachelor’s Degree from The Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Education from Seton Hall University. He has built a track record for mobilizing communities by creating and growing educational, as well as leadership/self-development programs. His summary of professional work includes Men Make A Difference (M²AD),  which was created to challenge and empower Men to be the Priests, Providers and Protectors of their Families, their Communities and their Personal Development. The initiative is being utilized by various Community Based Organizations as a mechanism to increase adult male involvement.  In addition, John has been instrumental in counseling students for College and Career Readiness.  His multi-dimensional Beyond the Classroom Student Action Planner  has grasped the attention of school districts, the business community, parents and other stakeholders.  John also considers it a blessing that he has been able to use his time, talent and resources to serve in various leadership positions within the local church.

JBG Ventures is John’s vehicle for sharing a documented history of result-oriented projects with families, schools, organizations and communities that face endless challenges.

Jacquelyn Blanton, Ed. D.

Managing Partner/Guest Presenter

Dr. Blanton has almost 30 years of practical experience in education and leadership. She has a Doctorate Degree in Education along with the following certifications: Preschool-Third Grade, Elementary Education, Supervisor, and Principal. Currently, she serves as the Early Childhood Supervisor and Principal of the Orange Early Childhood Center for the Orange Township Public Schools. Dr. Blanton supervises 57 classrooms and well over 100 staff members. She is responsible for professional development for teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff. Additionally, Dr. Blanton coordinates local, state, and federal mandates, oversees curriculum and assessment implementation, and the development and monitoring of the school budget.

A former All-American Track and Field athlete and a member of two NCAA Championship Teams, Dr. Blanton brings an extensive health and fitness background that adds to the ongoing success story for JGB Ventures and all its clients.

Gyasi Blanton

Associate Manager/Guest Presenter

Gyasi obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Music Education, as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance from The Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. He has also acquired a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Florida State University.  Gyasi currently serves as the assistant director of choirs at Stratford High School where he also teaches theatre. He is highly recognized as an active musician, music director, music educator and composer/arranger. Gyasi has utilized his gifts acting in the capacity as one of the artistic directors with the New Jersey Youth Chorus “Coro Vivo” a boys’ choir of unchanged Voices. Under his tutelage, the ensemble performed at the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden and with the Keystone State Boys’ choir.  As a composer and arranger, Gyasi’s Invictus, Entreat Me Not to Leave You, The Dream Keeper and The Water is widely performed in recitals, master classes and concerts. He has also presented his research on Programming Non-Idiomatic Choral Music by Black Composers in various professional development and in-service sessions.  Gyasi’s stage credits include: Treemonisha (Andy), Hansel and Gretel (The Witch), Man of La Mancha (Sancho), Kismet (The Caliph), The Medium (Toby), Pippin (Leading Player), Hairspray (u/s Seaweed), Porgy and Bess (Ensemble) and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney). He also served as music director for productions of: A Christmas Carol, Pippin, Little Women, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Pajama Game, A Class Act, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid Jr., My Fair Lady, She Loves Me Urinetown, Singin’ in the Rain, and Mamma Mia. Gyasi’s background as a musician, performer, composer and teacher provides an enormous sum of expandability to JGB Ventures and our clients.
